there is stuff available on-line. Have a look at the www.rac.ca website.

I imagine there is an ARC down Windsor way.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get any information from the Windsor Hams concerning exams or classes. I gave up a while back after trying to contact someone from the Sun Parlour Retirees Amateur Radio Club (SPRARC) from the info on their website:

Your best bet is to go to a 'bigger' city when they're having their testing, perhaps London or Kitchener.

When I lived in Windsor I was a member of the Border City Radio Club: http://home.cogeco.ca/~bcrc/

I think they've held courses in the past but they usually schedule them in the fall.

I got my ticket in 1999 by doing the self-study thing. I wrote one of the last Basic exams to be presided over by an Industry Canada inspector in Windsor.
