getting a Rom message on my bcd396t

during my frimware upgrade i on the bcd396t
i starting getting a Rom message now the radio will not work
can i set it back to the default setting . what is the trick to do that

did you try the lockout/6 to try to reprogram it again? 2/9/hold at the same time and power it back on to restore to factory settings..hers a easier to read manual...http://myweb.cableone.net/marksscanners/330/330test.html

Make sure you enter in the correct serial number for the upgrade. If you even enter 1 digit wrong, an error will occur and error message on screen.
