Hello, on the day that this fire started I was able to listen to a lot of info, have all the redcom channels and a few others in my scanner WS1040,
but for some reason today the chatter is way low. I was wondering if there was an update to the channel list that's not listed on the database,
been using PSRE500 for the programing.

Thanks

Most of the non-dispatch stuff is out of range for me, but I'd suspect they're using Cal Fire or NIFC command and tac channels.

You've just experienced what happens at most large fires. They use the "initial attack" aka daily channels to get the crews to work. If the incident persists, they will transition to extended attack frequencies and free up the IA channels. These are usually the NIFC command and tac channels in USFS areas (for example). In CalFire areas, you'll see the "other" CDF command and tac channels used that you don't normally hear. Be sure to scan everything, especially the 2nd day of a fire.

I hope this helps. Currently, it is as follows:

CDF COMMAND 1 for #GlassFire Comms
CDF TACTICAL 13 for #GlassFire AIR TO GROUND COMMAND
CDF TACTICAL 20 for #GlassFire AIR TO GROUND TACTICAL

#EastZone/EastOps (Napa County) is:
DIV A - CDF T1 - 151.2575
DIV D - CDF T26 - 159.2925
DIV H - CDF T30 - 151.3925
DIV J - CDF T31 - 159.3825
DIV L - VFIRE 25 - 154.2875
DIV N - CDF T24 - 151.3325
DIV U - CDF T29 - 151.3475
DIV W - CDF T27 - 159.3075
DIV X - CDF T28 - 151.1825

#WestZone/WestOps (Sonoma County) is:
DIV KK - VTAC11 - 151.1375*
DIV MM - VTAC12 - 154.4525*
DIV PP - CDF T25 - 159.2775
DIV QQ - CDF T1 - 151.2575
DIV SS - VTAC13 - 158.7375*
DIV ZZ - VTAC14 - 159.4725*
OAKMONT - CDF T4 - 151.1900

*These channels also double as COUNTY COMMS channels so you might hear cross traffic/repeater use.

Regards,

-Frank C.

Those tacs are a few days old. Divisions U, W, and X have been moved to West Ops. Division QQ is now on CDF T25 with Division PP, and there is no more Oakmont Division.

As of this morning's briefing it's just Div PP. I know they're "older" but they're still currently used tac channels on the #GlassFire...
