Is Denver Fire using the old Glendale fire station and if so what is its number? I heard a call in Glendale and Engine 19 responded.

19's a pair covers most of the Glendale calls from there existing station.
There was also an initial rumor that EMS transport would be contracted to Action Care but that's not been the case, DG is running the calls in Glendale.

Thanks for the reply. I'm always suspicious of what the media says when it comes to first departments. When Rescue 1 crashed on Speer Blvd., they kept saying it was the 'primary haz-mat response unit in the city of Denver', even though in the background I could see it was Rescue 1 and not Hammer 1. Must be wanting to use the current buzzword.

It was about 2-3 months ago. I was watching the news when they were talking about the accident saying it was the Haz-Mat response truck as they showed the Rescue Company with a big dent in it. The newspaper the next day said the same thing - that it was the Haz-Mat response vehicle.
