Some switching noise on the AC lines made my UPS chirp once, but the lights didn't flicker at all, and... east zone dropped three channels. I guess we can figure out which repeaters don't have working battery backups.

Normally with a large site, it's more cost effective to have one big battery string supplying the entire site. I'd be surprised if they had individual batteries for each repeater but what you saw would seem to suggest it.

At the FCP site, each repeater has its own battery. I guess this is so that the failure of any single battery won't bring down the entire site.
