Global delete all BCD 396T channels.

My BCD 396T has many USA channels pre-programmed in. I will never use these channels. Is there an easy way to delete them from my scanner? Will the "freescan" program accomplish this? Actually, I only have one analog channel that I programmed into my scanner right now. (I don't know how to input any digital or trunking stuff yet........heh heh)

The uniden software, arc demo will do it.

You can clear ALL MEMORY by holding down 2 - 9 - HOLD while turning the scanner on. When the screen asks you to Restore Preprogram List? press the .NO key.

Thanx for the answers to my question. I used "ARC demo" to clear all the channels and then tried "2-9-HOLD" while turning the scanner on. I can restore all the preset channels by selecting "E-yes" and delete them again by selecting "E-no".
