I watched it live Sunday morning and also listened to the Global IFB on 460.1625. I called the SW EPS dispatcher, on her direct line, when it appeared the police were unaware of the suspect hiding in a nearby camper van. You can see the moment the police got the info and focused in on the van. Chris Hayden a former EPS member did a terrific job in resolving this chase which was terminated for public safety.
Also do you think the police dog was introduced properly to the truck in order to do a successful track? EPS has picked up a copy of this video and it will no doubt become a well used training video.
Not to take away from the spectacular takedown by EPS and the great job by Hayden in the chopper. Every time I watch the video I pick up on new details.
