Gloucester County BLS dispatch

Anybody have any idea why Gloucester County is dispatching squads with "BLS" instead of "Squad" now?

For example.. they say "BLS 10-9" instead of "Squad 10-9" now.. thought it was a strange change for them to make.

Camden county did the same thing a little while back. I am not sure if Gloucester County has "Squad Companies" (like an engine company) but they do this to take away confusion from dispatching a Squad (Engine) Company, rather than a BLS (EMS Squad) Unit. They have also called our Medics ALS instead of Medic 44. Hope this wasn't too confusing
