Found this link from the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association:

This is the radio communications plan for Gloucester County; apparently, there are a lot of differences between what's listed in the codes guides and in Joe Cardani's e-book, especially on the fire radio side (esp. channel assignments). If anyone who's able to clarify some of the differences, please post such here. Since there are a few posters here who monitor Gloucester County, I thought this might be of interest. It's very fascinating reading to say the least...

Yes, very good reading!! {:>D One thing to note right off the bat in the Police frequency section is that Zone 5 frequency 508.5875 only covers Deptford twp, not Washington Twp, Monroe or Glassboro. They are self dispatched on different frequencies. The last page of the document where it lists the frequency matrix is very confusing. It self-contradicts the previous section in the document which lists the frequencies by number and function (North EMS Response, North Fire Response), then lists which districts use North and South response. Perhaps I didn't quite understand it, because why would certain stations do primary response on a TAC channel (13, 15)? But definitely a wealth of useful information. Thanks for finding this.

That was a pretty exciting chase. The cop gave up, though, after the suspect ran about 5 red lights on Route 47. I know they staked out his house after that in Sewell. Did they get him? I was watching my Red Wings kill the Oilers and couldn't listen.

One thing I've been doing in these situations is following the chase on Google Maps as they call out the cross streets. It kinda puts you "there".

There was another exciting incident the other night, too. A woman from Oak Valley threatened to jump off a bridge. She apparently went first to the Delaware Memorial Bridge (a popular jump spot) but said she didn't like the bridge. The cool thing after that, though, was the cops followed her route through cell tower pings with her phone. The entire county was on alert. The cops' last ping was 1.2 miles from the Hollydell Ice Rink tower heading north on Route 47. They pulled her over a couple of miles later at the five points intersection. Some real Jack Bauer work there!

The cops had her brother meet them and take her to Underwood Memorial's psych unit. It is pretty cool sometimes to listen to these things from start to finish.

Sorry for off-topic.
