I noticed this morning that Gloucester Twp. PD in Camden County was back on their primary frequency 506.9375 PL 100.0. Is this a permanent change or was there an incident that required a switchover to that freq? I remember last week when they had that bad accident on Cross Keys Rd. the units stated the primary frequency was unavailable.

I had heard at one time that they were going to make 506.9375 digitally encrypted.

This is still the case; however, they are still waiting on several pieces of replacement subscriber equipment so that all of their units are compatible with one-another...
At the earliest, I wouldn't expect a change until at least the end of 2011 moving into early 2012.
Once the change over is completed; they will be just like Pennsauken Township's setup.
