Glynn County FD has recently begun using what sounds like a Purvis Systems Automated Fire Alerting System for the initial dispatch of their Fire/EMS units. The automated system handles the initial dispatch then all of the subsequent traffic is handled by the 911 Center dispatchers. It was testing on their FD 1 talkgroup in the last few weeks, but this week it's in use on the FD 1 dispatch talkgroup. As far as I know, Glynn FD is the only department in coastal Georgia using an automated dispatch system. Brunswick FD is not being dispatched by the system, it's still being handled all by the 911 Center dispatchers. If you've heard the system in use in Charleston, SC, it's quite similar to it.
