GMRS /FRS Service Search on BC996XT

When I try to do a sevice search for GMRS / FRS it duplicates the Public Safety Service Search freqs. I looked at the ProScan program file and couldn't find a clue. I reset the scanner clean, and with preprogrammed freqs., and reloaded my working program file, each with no luck. What am I missing here??

Upon further investigation, I find that it will search GMRS etc properly if done thru the scanner menu physically or thru ProScan. FreeScan is where the problem is!
