GMRS nets in Walla Walla?

I was scanning some radio channels on Sunday, and I heard what sounded like a net being run on a GMRS repeater (GMRS channel 20) in Walla Walla. Does anyone know more about these? Specifically, when they run nets, and where you might be able to pick up a net?

Huh, that's weird. I must've been picking up one of the repeaters in Idaho or western Montana. Wow. And I was only using a homemade tape-measure Yagi and a 5-watt HT!

There are two GMRS repeaters in Walla Walla.
Pikes Peak 462.675NHz PL 141.3
Richard Bessey's 462.550 PL 100

Don't know about nets. If you hear one try to check in as a guest. Do you have a GMRS callsign? They may require it.
