Hello,
I have a Motorola R1225 UHF Repeater on GMRS RX:462.5500 TX:467.5500.
I need some help on my antenna situation. I currently have a Tram/Browning BR-6155 [Tram/Browning BR-6155] - $79.95 : The Antenna Farm :: , Your Two Way Radio Source! antenna on a 15' mast that is on top of a 25' building connected to 50' of Andrew LDF450A coax. The R1225 repeater did not come with a duplexer. I do have 65' of LMR400 coax that is not being used.
My question is, Should i use two antennas (1 for TX, 1 for RX) or just go buy a duplexer? If i you suggest i use two antennas, how should i set them up?
Your input is greatly appreicated!
Thank you
