I'm here a lot
So, for the four new talkgroups I expect we will see: West Control, East Control, North Control, and Southwest Control.
I think I'll hold on the system for now since it is rush hour now and see if anything new pops up.

Any incident that the drivers need to reach the control centre is supposed to go over the new talk groups, bus to bus and to road supervisors it appears that stays on the ops channels.

Tech4064, my logging is done with Unitrunker, so voice traffic or not if a t/g is activated even once it'll be captured. Nothing but 109 & 111 (in the "bus" range) meet that requirement so far... I'll keep watching.

I still stuck trying to figure out 602. Sounds like somebody down at the offices on Bay Street?

A driver was told to go to Control East and he ended up on the Supervisor group.

I've renamed Supervisor to Control East.

One of them was 109 identified as Control West.

No new P25 Phase II so far.

Looks like USBT and Northwest are both TDMA now.

I'm sure there are others but those were the only ones I noticed today.

Would the new Uniden scanner pick up the TDMA groups? I suspect other talkgroups are also TDMA as of this morning as my radio is very silent this morning on the GO system but I see talkgroups stopping for half a second and when I put it on the control channel it shows activity but no voice so maybe they are TDMA.

New GO transit talkgroups

They seem to flip back and forth between FDMA and TDMA.

Today some talkgroups that were TDMA yesterday are FDMA today, wonder if the system makes the choice depending on how busy it is or if it's the technicians trying things out.

No, the system makes a choice depending on what type of radio is affiliated to the talkgroup. If all the radios are TDMA capable, the talkgroup will be TDMA. If just one FDMA radio affiliates, the talkgroup reverts back to FDMA.

At some point when all the radios are TDMA capable, the talkgroup will no longer revert back.

Thanks, good info and one more reason to perhaps get one of the new Unidens.

It depends on finances but is it worth it to buy a new scanner based on a few Metrolinx talkgroups?

White peoples problems for sure, good ones to have :)

Depends on what you want to listen to. It appears that all the bus talkgroups are TDMA capable. I caught Control East using TDMA yesterday.

The big gotcha for users of the HP-1 is that Sentinel doesn't appear to download TDMA talkgroups even though they're not always TDMA.

You'll need to setup a favourites list and enter them in manually unless Uniden decides to allow the downloading of them in a future update.
