I have been running DSD+ on the Toronto site for the past few days or so and noticed a new TG that I haven't seen before and is not in the DB, TG 505. I am not sure what it is used for as of yet, but looks like it has the same RID range as some of the other USRC RID's.

I have only seen two RID's use this channel so far (524026 with 187 hits & 524028 with 215 hits) and neither of these have shown up in my scanning on TG 501 or 502.

Matt,

I saw this TG a while back while in ID Search mode. That RID falls right in line with the TTR RID's, so I imagine it's them. Now I'm curious if there's a 503 or 504 kicking around somewhere.

In the past I've also noticed 112 with both Bus and Operations/Dispatch RID all ENC. Must be some sort of bus secure TG. Also noticed something similar today during the whole transit disruption with CN today, TG 114 which seems to be in the clear.

I do see around a hundred or so hits on TG 112 and under 50 hits on TG 114 on the Hamilton area site. Also, so far I don't see any new active on TG 30-32 on the Hamilton site as well.

I have a feeling the 30-32 TG's are part of one of their Maintenance facilities, possibly Willowbrook?

Wouldn't they be then on the Toronto tower then? I haven't seen much activity on those 3 TG's on the Toronto tower.. only 14 hits on 30, 2 on 31 and 2 on 32..

I'm here a lot
I've been hearing them off of Central simulcast

Same here. It's fairly difficult trying to follow them with my 536. So, I'm using SDRTrunk and am enjoying clean audio finally on the clear channels. The system is so busy that it's hard to isolate that 505.

Could 112 be another TG for the Union Station Bus Terminal?

I am thinking that it is more of a private TG for buses and control to communicate. Maybe 114 is USBT related?

I took a look at my DSD+ logs and I am seeing that RID's that are showing up on both 112 & 114 are also showing up regularly on the other GO Bus TG's in the 1xx range.

The way Metrolinx has its RID's setup is really smart. Everything correlates to something. The 7015xx seems to be operations (dispatcher) RIDs"s and then the bus and train numbers correspond with the RID. (ex. train 316, UID: 316). I think its safe to say that 112 is some sort of secure channel for the buses and as 114, some more listening may be involved.

I just saw 112 come up on SDRTrunk with an alias as 1BMR D7 P25 Phase 2
Now, is that 1 Bell Mobility Radio Digital 7 or 1 Bombardier 7?

1BMR D7 is back again. It is in the GO Bus group. I saw a 8000 series bus or "double decker" 84XX fleet number makes me think this may be a 407 route bus.
