I'm a bit of a transit geek, but its looking like the summer testing we heard during the summer is going to be true maybe.

Check the Industry Canada listings, there are new licenses for Grimsby and Cambridge! Some are voice channels and 900 MHz links! Surely the government doesnt give these away unless there is a plan in place?

From what I heard a long time ago, back in 2004 GO was looking to start up a service to Niagara.
Recently Welland wanted in the action as well.
You can contact your local MPP or google it for a better responce.
I have never heard Cambridge getting GO transit but it makes sense considering traffic to and from the gta.

Years ago, GO had a UHF repeater in the Cambridge area that was simulcasting Rail Ops.

A similar repeater was located in Churchill (just south of Barrie) and used a 900Mhz link.
