nothing changed except the PL
its a temp fix to alleviate missouri highway patrol taking over during times of skip
the genius engineer who originally chose these freqs and pls wasnt smart enough to look at the fcc uls and see the kilowatt xmtrs licensed on the same freq and pl
now at least MHP wont key up chp but it will ride in if a unit is talking
brown changed a few mins ago and white and black changing next week
the pl is wrong on the database channel it is NOT 179 for green-3 green-3 is 167.9 pl
correction has been submitted
gold-3 -179
black white green-3 167
brown-3 136
most of the changeovers will occur about 10 am techs are up at each mtn top and after chp moves everyone onto the blue and completes roll calls then the freq is released and each mtn top gets its pos midland rptr updated w the new pl
upon completion and final testing to make sure each mtn top has the right pl
then the units are directed back to the new ___-3 for roll call and testing
the codeplug that has the ___-3 has been around since mar2010 always funny to see the cars that dont have it in there YET
but the pl can be changed manually

I can state from personal knowledge that in the 2006 legislatively-required peer review said genius engineer was told that his plan violated the nationwide State Police Frequency Allotment Plan (maintained by APCO and the State of Ohio) and that the interference CHP has been experiencing would happen.
they were told at the beginning.. use the output freq of the deprecated freq and search 3 mhz up or nearby
make things a lot easier keep good separation and use tried and proven interference free freqs
