I've worked with this hardware/software off/on over the years, and now I have a job that landed on me that's beyond my scope of experience. I have all the documentation I can find, and the help files for all the different software, but I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for.
How does one "address" the CIE to "assign" it to a specific Op position? In a multiple dispatch position system, I know the CIE's are not interchangeable without some sort of "address" change, but I can't seem to find any documentation on the subject.
I have a 2 position system. One of the CIE's is dead....the Op1 position. So I want to "address" the Op2 CIE for use at the Op1 position.
I also can't find any documentation on how to set the TDM bus dip switches on the CEB cards. I'm into the CDM and I'm trying to upload a simple change that I made to the CEB, and it won't talk, so I want to verify TDM bus switch settings, as the cards are labeled differently from the info found in the db.
There is an ultimate goal to all this that I have to try to accomplish once I can get past some basic stuff here.
If anyone would care to lend a hand, I'd sure appreciate it.
