Getting good reception for the Miami Dade public safety system has always been a challenge for me. It's gotten much better in the last month. I don't think anyone knows why but I'm guessing they tweaked their transmitter sites.
I have been looking for a good antenna for my portable scanner that performs extremely well in the 800 range and I recently found this one. I also wanted something as compact as possible without sacrificing performance. It was $13.00
