good antenna(s) for bc246t

i have antenna that came with bc246t

im close to mt area(s) and cuts alot out. i basically monitor state police and locals.

there was an antenna a freiend got like 5+ years ago. it almosts looks like pvc piping and he reached upstae pa with it...

i need a STRONG antenna for 800's and such and maybe to do all....


any suggestions?

I would suggest the Seeker800. Works great on 800, and pretty good on the rest of the spectrum.

The Radio Shack 800MHz antenna works very well. The day after I got my 246T in t he mail I rode the scooter to Radio Shack to pickup the antenna, only time I have done that with a scanner. It was the best investment! It made a teriffic scanner even bettter. Definitely get the antenna!
