Good antenna?

Hey everyone, I got a portable Radio Shack Triple Trunking Scanner. I have the small rubber antenna that came with it, it does not work well for me. I am looking for a good antenna that can pick up frequencies more than 20 miles away. Anyone know a good one that does not cost a lot of $$$$? Thanks!

It really depends on the frequency ranges you are trying to receive. Signals from 20 miles away would also depend on terrain, antenna height, and transmitter power.

The Diamond RH77CA - $17.95 is said to be the best wide band scanner antenna.

If size is an issue the Comet CH-32 - $24.95 works good for it's size but not the best performer, and my personal choice.
