It seems as though Uniden gets some bad raps from time to and I just wanted to provide a little positive feed back. I mailed an ailing bcd396xt to their repair facility on 10/30 and received the repaired unit today 11/23 which seemed a very reasonable turn around time. Thank you

That's good to hear. What was the diagnosis?

I sent it in for inability to receive/decode digital transmissions ie Hoosier SafeT and LTR. The repair note indicated the main board was replaced.
