Good place to buy antennas

Any place around town sell good antennas with the SMA connector may be a Ham radio place looking for something 800 Mhz for my 396.

K & E electronics on nw 23rd between Portland and I-44 or there is a new Ham place that is only open 4:30 to 6:30 during the week and most of the day saturday on Villia a couple of blocks north of Reno. Just north of the railroad tracks. Both places seem nice and are very helpful if you have any questions.

K & E is super, super nice people to do business with. I've bought a couple of antennas there. FWIW, if your sensitive to ciggy smoke, they smoke .. *alot*.

I can vouch for K&E. I've been in there several times with issues I wanted to solve. This last time, I wanted an nmo mount with an L bracket. He took about 20 minutes to help me pick out the right L bracket, select the NMO mount, show me how to connect the mount to the bracket, and pack it all up for me. I knew most of what he was showing me, but it's the effort that counts.

I don't know the name of the place on Villa. If you are in the area I am pretty sure they monitor 146.520. I have noted a radio listening to the hailing freq. when I have been in there.

I will call them on 146.5200 tomorrow morning. I know they will be open but I think they have a swap meet on the third saturday. Just look for the building north of the tracks with all of the antennas on top.
