Good Rubber Antenna for Pro-96

Does anybody know or recomend a good rubber duckie for the pro-96. The area I'm concerned about is 800mhz. I've tried the long one from scannermaster.com and the one from radio shack. Is there anything out there better?

Are you looking for more gain? Are your signal levels below norm.?

For 800 MHz, the antenna to get is the little fifteen dollar Radio Shack 800 MHz antenna. I have one for the 96 so I can listen to Connecticut State Police from here in Dutchess County, and it works wonders!

Fpr VHF/UHF, I use the Austin Condor...ugly looking thing, but man it works nice

I am looking for more gain, particularly in the 450/800mhz. I've heard of the "Condor", and I do have the r/s's 800mhz and the "professional" one from scannermaster.com and they both seem to be about the same.

They both do well in some areas, but if I go into some buildings, they just can't get that signal, I listen to the State Police which are digital and I'm not sure if it's the terrain, or what.

Depends on the construction of the building. If its all steel construction then your bassicly in a faraday cage.

I'm with the Security Dept. w/ the Hoover Co. and some of the buildings are pretty large, but isn't that the reason why they started using digital?
