Good Scanner for OZ

Well im thinking of offloading my XTS3000 and getting a scanner...

whats the best one to get..im thinking of the UBC9 or a handheld...prob not looking to spend massive dollars but looking for a 2nd hand unit that will pick up NSWFB,Transits, Ambo. RTA oh and airband.


Will I need the newer trunktracker 3 or will the TT2 do the job...im currently using an old UBC120XLT which is fine for Air but thats about it.

Im open to any thoughts...or if you have an old one there let me know..I may take it off ur hands.

A UBC9 would be fine, but once the GRN starts moving to digital you won't be able to scan it. You might want to consider the UBCD996T or UBCD396T. There are plenty of them on Ebay second hand.

yeah thanks champ...really think digital scanners are wayyyyyyy over priced....ill wait till pricing comes down...800 bucks is a joke!
