Just 10 minutes ago, I got an itruding feq-on Goodwin Mills freq-152.2275-94.8.. I am hearing a nexden burst. Thats new. Getting the intrusion on my awesome-no flaws-396xt.. I love sarcasm. Anyone else hear it, or is the 396xt malfunctioning? There is no perfect scanner-unfortunately

Goodwins Mills Fire uses 152.2775 94.8 PL, not 2275 as you state above. I assume that this is an error in your post, not the frequency on which you are actually trying to hear GMFD.

Anyway, Horizon Mobile Communications, operates what appears to be a 5-frequency VHF trunk system on Mt. Hope in Sanford, callsign WPNR570. One of the frequencies is 152.2700, the adjacent channel to the one GMFD is using. It is likely that is causing some interference depending on your location relative to the GMFD repeater location (Fort Ridge, Shapleigh).

You must mean 152.2775 Mhz 152.2275 is not valid

you are correct-looking at it now--no bursts at the moment--we'll see
