Google Assistant, Now Available On Ham Radio

"Depending on who you talk to, Google Assistant is either a tool capable of quickly and clearly answering audio queries in natural langauge, or a noisier and less useful version of Wolfram Alpha. [William Franzin] decided it would be particularly cool to make the service available over ham radio – and that’s exactly what he did."

Also some comments about rules and regulations..."you can't do that"... aa is usual when there is something different. So what else is new?

You'd be surprised how many ways audio is being monitored in homes today? Own a smart TV, smart phone, cable TV box, VoIP phone, etc?

Can anybody prove any of this mass surveillance paranoia? I have seen and heard a lot of claims, but no actual proof that anybody has been monitored and/or recorded randomly (or in targeted fashion) by their home devices.

Hmm, ok.

How does Google cope with not being able to track the end user of an amateur radio link? Do they assign all queries and history to the operator of the link? I would consider that question before opening such a link on my computer.

Why not just buy a Google Assistant and hard wire the speaker and microphone to a radio?
Just saying.
