I saw a few of the guys that work at gore mountain and they were carrying CP185 Motorola digital vhf radios and it was coming over the air as digital like and had a couple talkgroups that they were taking on and I wasn’t able to get them on my scanner when they were talking.so I am looking for some help finding this info out

I didn’t know the CP185 came in any digital-capable format.

We use them at my fire department for the auxiliary members to communicate during community events— they are far from being a front-line radio and I’d be surprised if professional radio technicians would be using them on the mountain.

Well they're not using CP185 radios with DMR channels, that's for sure.

Have you done any research on your own yet? There is a relevant category on the Warren County page, which leads to an FCC license that has both VHF and UHF frequencies, with some DMR emissions on UHF. I would suggest starting there and seeing what you can figure out on your own.

Ok so I have programmed them and I am only a few house down from gore mountain ski area and I am still not picking anything up on the DMR digital system
Again, looking at their web page the first public event listed is December 10 and there is likely be little activity at a ski center until they start snow making and trail grooming. Off season, the few active employees would have little need to use radios.

Based on my experience with Bristol Mountain in my area they seldom talk on the radio unless there is a problem.

Ok so today I was listen to the 453.3250 and got a color code of 6 and I am still working on getting the talkgroup for it from what I gathered from the radio transmission was ski mountain workers talking about fixing the slope on one of the trails
