Got a ST2 coming

I got a 100 foot tower.. My uncle is the official police tow we are next door so can use his tower.. do I need to point it in the direction of the ST2 at the towers or??? The nearist tower for my local state police is 19 miles.. basic antennas will not cut it..

PS I got 300 feet of RG-6 do I need better?

The nearest tower and put it up at least 30ft you may get other towers the higher you go
