got another bcd996t

Was searching Craigslist the other day and came across a guy selling a bcd996t for $100. In the box. Still had 2007 firmware in it (1.03.11) and was not used much at all. Guys father passed away and he didnt know what a scanner was. I updated the firmware to the latest and it works fine. Wish I could get a deal like that everyday. Also are there going to be anymore firmware updates for the bcd996t and 396t?

Way to go! Craigslist definitely has some deals if you watch and are quick when necessary.
If you don't already know this - there are apps on the market that will send notifications to your smartphone when ads meeting your criteria are posted - I use it all the time.

As for the 396T/996T firmware updates - I don't think so since they've been replaced with the "X" versions.

BTW - I grew up in DP, back in the 70s :cool:
