I have had my Pro96 programed for years and years, rarely update it. I also have it arranged in such a way as to include all Zone 2 not duplicating control channel frequencies. For example I have one control channel labeled Harrowsmith/Cornwall as they share a frequency. For my scanner (Pro96) i also have to include a dummy FM frequency in between the control channels.
Now that i have explained my layout my question. I want to update it so I have all the talk groups/frequencies up to date. Now would I need to update any of the control channels or do they rarely change?
I would assume i would just need to update the talk groups.
I am using the Import function to grab it direct from the databases into my scanner programming program. Just hard to get it sorted and laid out properly. Maybe someone on here has some tips to doing it this way?
