GP 2300 "Copper Top"

Okay, what's the deal. You know those 3 GP 2300 batteries that come with the BCD396T? They put the copper top on the wrong end! Why would they do that? Isn't it supposed to be on the positive end like Duracells? Has anyone else almost gotten the polarity wrong several times like me or am I just stupid?

You are not the only one. I have never seen any other two-tone batteries with the narrow band on the negative end. Took a while to get used to it.

The end with the nipple is always postive, no matter what colour arrangement they have on the lable.
