Ok so I tried a different cable from a Garmin 60CSX to the serial port of my BCT-15X. Here's the thing, when you plug a PC laptop into the USB mini plug of the 60CSX you get GPS info. But this is not working for the scanners on any set baud rates. So I regress to the round four pin cord to serial plug for the scanner at 4800 baud. Just putting this info out there in case someone wanted to try it. The Garmin 60CSX has two ways to get the gps info out. The round four pin and the mini usb. As far as the scanners needing serial 4800 baud the mini usb won't work.
I have tried splitting the GPS signal over four scanners using serial db9-y splitter cords from the round four pin. It works fine.
So that's some GPS info.
