If I am correct, the BCT15 can be set so that manually enterd GPS coordinates can be entered in decimal or DMS format, but the BCT15 UASD software will only accept data entry in DMS format. I am setting up dozens of systems with many of those systems having multiple sites to get the best geographic coverage, and going back and forth from Microsoft Streets to obtain coordinates (only in decimal), to the conversion web site to convert decimal to DMS, to UASD is cumbersome (and slow, tedious, etc.) at best.
I'm probably going to purchase the DeLorme mapping software, which I understand natively can show coordinates in DMS format, but I'm curious as to why the UASD software doesn't support what the radio can accept as a coordinate format. Before I pull the trigger on Delorme, am I missing something? Any word on if a later UASD release will accept decimal?
