GPS Indicator

Have the Uniden GPS connected to my BCD536 but not sure it is working. Should there be an indicator "GPS" on the display of the unit if the GPS is connected and working? If it is not displayed any suggestions to resolve the problem?

You should see "GPS" on the top row. See the image below.

Alternatively you can go through the keypad menu: Set Your Location>Set Manual Location and note the Latitude and Longitude. The move your vehicle a hundred yards or so and repeat, seeing if the values are changed. If they haven't, it's possible the GPS isn't working properly, connected correctly, or set up correctly. The location format, either DMS or DEG needs to match the database (DMS I believe) and the Serial Port baud rate should be 4800.

It also doesn't seem to appear when you have a computer connected
