GPS Status Display

Does the BCD536 have a GPS status display? I used this feature a lot when I had my 15x mounted in my truck. The speed and elevation were really fun to watch when driving through the mountains. The manual did not say anything about it.

Is there an easy way to verify that my GPS is working correctly then? In my BCT15x I would just look at the coordinates. I am note sure how to verify that it is working properly on the BCD536.
