Grafton County has switched to 95% digital on "Grafton North" Channel (158.835). Looking for a Network Access Code for that (NAC)

thanks.

I dont know it off hand, but if you have a R-S pro 106, just put it on manual as well as squelch search. . If you have a uniden, put it on manual and hit enter fast when it shows up from activity.

thanks for the reply. I however don't have access to a scanner that will decode NAC's at this time.

If somebody in the area does, if you happen to decode it please post!
thanks

Try 117 first. After that, someone will have to find it.

I should've brought my scanner up last week with the NAC reader. I was up there for state Dispatchers Assn meeting AND I was actually on that frequency talking to Bethlehem PD...argh

Still looking if anybody has this NAC. My ASTROS wont decode digital ID unless I have proper NAC.

If you put in a NAC of "F7E" your astros should decode any P25 signal on the frequency, regardless of its actual NAC. That is the equivalent of setting it to CSQ.

John,

I could get my radios to decode the audio fine regardless of NAC. On channels that the Network Access Code is unknown, In the CPS under ASTRO RX unmute rule I check Digital CSQ instead of Normal Squelch. This will unmute any P25 traffic on the channel but will not decode ID's.

However, i have confirmed that Grafton North NAC is 727 (atleast on the receiving end, unknown if transmit is same)

Ah OK. Wasn't sure how you had it set up.

Looks like they're getting creative on NAC's; given they're not using 117.
