I've been monitoring MARCS using DSD Plus Fast Lane.
In particular Sites 1.13 Warren County, 4.01 Butler County
and 4.03 Montgomery County.

My question is the operations of Grandview Hospital.
Of their 3 Talkgroups I have only caught and heard
58202 Grandview Hospital Security TAC 2 active.
I have not caught 58200 Grandview Hospital Security Dispatch
or 58201 Grandview Hospital Security TAC 1 at all.

What I catch on 58202, is just routine traffic, somewhat dispatch traffic.

Can we get some of you to monitor these talkgroups and
post your results here? We can compare notes. It doesn't
seem correct to me to be catching all the traffic on their TAC 2.

All of those talkgroups can monitored on-line or Broadcastify.

I'm just trying to determine the proper use of these talkgroups.

Further info:

There have been 792 hits on 58202, 8 hits on 58200 and 0 hits on 58201.
After about a week of monitoring off and on.

Mark,
I have heard traffic on 58200 and 58202. Have not heard anything on 58201. With that said, I have heard Preble, Troy, Soin, Springfield talking on both at various times. Sounds like all security related traffic, talking about doctor white (upset patient), Medflight enroute, etc. 58202 is more busy then 58200.

Further research I have done this morning. This is no longer Grandview Hospital. It is now Kettering Health Dayton.
Obviously it is now a part of the wide spread Kettering Health Network. I will make the appropriate changes in the database.

My notes for this are at home, so, I'm doing most of this from memory....

It's been Kettering Health Network for a while...
Son-in-law was an officer with them a bit back, and I was able to get a little insight into the workings. The "TAC 1" & "TAC 2" references on the two channels are not correct... KHNPD never had TAC channels - for Montgomery County locations they would use the County's Law Enforcement 1 thru 5 channels, Greene County units (SOIN) would use 29LETAC 4, etc....

For a short while, KHNPD used the facility the unit was patrolling to identify (ie Southview 23, etc)... then they changed to Radio-based identification (ie radio number was the officer number for his/her shift).... I gave up on following along then; too confusing.... it sounds like now (and I've only listened in a short bit lately) that they are back to the facility id again.... may have to start listening in a bit more again...

Had a bunch of this info in notes, etc when I was listening in, back when he was working with them... notes are at home at the moment
