Grandview Missouri & NKC Missouri

I programmed the frequencies for Grandview Missouri and also the ones for North Kansas City. I dont know if I did something wrong or what. I am not hearing anything activity from Grandview. And very little from NKC. For Grandview I programmed the new trunking freqs. Anyone out there that can help me? Also if anyone has the most up to date list for these I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

I am hearing Grandview just fine, you must have programed your frequencies wrong or don't have them in order. You can find the frequencies for Grandview here on the Radio Refrence website under the PR Database.

Remember, Grandview is using the Motorola Trunked system.

Thanks for the info JC. I went ahead and just deleted what I had and re-programmed the Grandview freqs. Do you know what the talk group id's are? I was reading in my manual talking about these. It states in my manual that the type II Motorola Systems have 5 numbers for their talk group id's. And the list on here does not have 5 numbers for the talk group id's. Maybe I am waaaaaaaay out in left field on this. If you have the correct freqs. and also the talk group id's I would really appreciate it if you would pass them my way. Thanks.

When you listen to Grandview just pay attention to the numbers

for example 16 is Police dispatch
48 is Tactical
80 is Traffic

Below is the format:
