Grant Co MACC P25 Paging

I'd heard that MACC was moving from the analog paging over Fire 1/2 VHF to Unication P25 pagers on their 800. I caught a bunch of paging tones on TG 2019 without any voice which is probably testing. I dont know if they are planning on staying with this new TG for all paging or if that is just for their testing but something to watch as it progresses.

I also have been keeping an eye on that new development. It will be interesting to see if they use a dedicated talkgroup for dispatch only. The last few tests they did it was tone and voice dispatch.
