Wondering if anyone can help me find out about Granville PD. I cannot find anything listed, only the fire department. I have been monitoring CoMIRS with no luck.
thanks.
Small town PD, They are not 24/7. When no one is on duty, they tone for available PD on the FD/EMS/PD channel 151.2950. If no response, troopers from MSP Troop B are dispatched. Troop B units do not talk on Granville channel
When I moved to Granville in 2010, I could monitor both police and fire on separate channels on my analog scanner and there was daily activity. A number of years ago I stopped hearing PD and was told that they had switched to digital. That was also confirmed by police when they have issues with the digital, they switch to the fire analog freq. Perhaps they went encrypted which is why there is no listing in the database?
Granville is a small part time PD. They are dispatched on the Hampshire County PD talkgroup (2307) as the are dispatched by Northampton Control. Their on air IDs are 82-x. Hope that helps.

2307 is tied with the Hampshire County police dispatch frequency. (154.7700 203.5). However Blandford and Granville PD are both dispatched on that talkgroup.
