I noticed that Grapevine Fire has started running PulsePoint, so active calls are now available for them just in case no one has known about that, I’m not sure how long they’ve been using it though. I was wondering though, has anyone heard if they’re going to implement automated dispatch like Plano on their PulsePoint? Someone had said a while back the the automated dispatch that Plano runs is part of PulsePoint, which would not surprise me because it does not have the same voice as Locution I’ve heard anywhere else.
I’d notice the other night on police channel 2 that there was what appeared to be an automated dispatch repeating “respond to a burglary in progress at xxx William D Tate Ave.” every few minutes. Not sure of this has anything to do with the PulsePoint stuff or anything, just thought I would mention it.
