Is Gray County getting ready to move from VHF to UHF? FCC database shows they recently licensed 8 UHF pairs.

Also SO dispatch on 154.875 is now using DPL754. Pampa PD dispatch on 155.550 is now using PL186.2. Changes have been submitted.

Hutchinson is on UHF TRBO. Without looking at the license, maybe they are wanting to do the same???

What license are you looking at? I only see a single wideband UHF license set to expire in 2017. I see several for Gray County Wind Energy but those are NFM only (not DMR). i know logic never really applies but it would seem Gray County would fall in with Panhandle Regional Planning of NFM or P25 for interop rather than way out on their own as DMR.
