I found them!

Grayson Co. Sheriff S.W.A.T. Team and Narcotics Operations including Surveillance and field operations are using 155.4375 NAC:295 in Simplex mode. GCSO kicked the door on a dope house in My city this morning Assisted by Trenton PD and Fannin Co. SO. This was the frequency and NAC they operated on. I knew this was a TACTICAL Channel but its used so little on this side of the county I never could ID it.

So here are two of GCSO's Simplex channels and their uses.

155.4375 NAC:295 Simplex TACTICAL & NARCOTICS
155.5875 CTC:167.9 Simplex JAIL OPERATIONS (New Jail at GC Airport)

I have submitted the new TAC Channel to the DB I hope out Texas DB Admin see's this thread and inputs the data correctly. Man, their jamming on this channel right now, Oh Yeah - Awesome find!

Thanks

They're posted. I noticed from the licenses that both of those frequencies also have mobile inputs. They may be using the output in simplex only, but appear to have the capability go to repeater mode. I could see simplex for a door kick, but I could also see a need for cross county comms on a repeater for the SWAT team.

Do you have anything to add for Fannin County. I've been trying to catch their NACs on FCSO and Bonham PD, but I just can't seem to listen enough. I think I've heard Bonham go P25 a couple of times, but can't confirm that or grab the NAC.

I noticed this too Russell. I have the Input in the radio and scanning, I'll confirm these as soon as I can. I also meant I hoped the Texas Admin say this post so he would understand better the way I heard it. Not mocking you like it sorta looked. Sorry, I worded it wrong. Thanks.

Fannin Co. on 154.7250 is 173.8 and NAC293
Bonham PD on 156.0750 is 173.8 and NAC293
Honey Grove PD on 155.5500 is 173.8 and NAC293
Honey Grove PD on 154.9500 is 192.8
Fannin Co. Fire on 155.5725 is DCS023
Bonham VA Medical Center on 410.5500 is NAC293
US Postal Service Inspectors on 406.3375 is NAC482 (Dallas/Tarrant/Collin)
FBI Collin Co., Dallas Co. & Possibly Denton Co. use 170.6750 PL: 167.8

On a Side note, Grayson Co. Sheriff (154.7850) and Sherman PD (155.0100) are 100% P25. they no longer maintain ANALOG or Mixed mode on those channels.

Hope this help's you some

They used to use 155.4375 (analog repeater) for the jail at the airport but I think they closed it a few years ago because I stopped hearing traffic on it.

If you have a contact at Shipman see if you can find out the status of the 154.815 repeater at Gordonville. They used to use this for Lake Texoma operations when they couldn't get into the 154.785 repeater. I haven't heard anything on it in over a year, analog or digital.

Me neither Mike. I am wondering if that hasn't become one of the many Inputs scattered around the county to the output 154.7850.

Listen to 155.5875 167.9 for a few days, they are just as busy as Collin Co. Jail Dispatch. Also I hear them well here so they very well might be repeated. The New Jail at GC-Airport is a long way for an analog signal to carry this far on simplex.

I'll check with Shipman on that and get back to the forums with the answers.

The 155.5875 jail system is a repeater. The input is 153.9875. I have them programmed in but don't listen to them on a daily basis. The input to the old 155.4375 airport facility was 153.8075. I've been monitoring it but haven't heard anything. I noticed I had 155.4375 locked out due to interference so I missed out on what was going on there. You might also put in 415.225 / 103.5. I believe the antenna is located on the Grayson Co tower just East of 1417/75. From what I can tell this is some type of relay between the Caddo/LBJ Grasslands (USFS) locations at Lake Crockett (Fannin Co) and Decatur. They have repeaters located at both facilities on 171.475 / 114.8 with an input of 172.225. I've been trying to monitor the VHF channels when the UHF is on to see if they are simulcast but I think I'm out of range of both locations from here. You might have better luck.

OK, Mike ... here is what I got for Gainesville. the new stuff. I am not 100% certain on if the repeater pairs are in the correct order (input/Output)

Gainesville Fire Department:

155.9025/158.8125 WQIN432 Channel's 1/2 (R/M) Talk around-Simplex

153.8150: WQBP789 Fire ground
154.6500: WQBP789 Fire ground
158.9400: WQBP789 Fire ground

154.9800/153.9200 KNBV931 Channel's 1/2 (R/M) Gainesville public works dept.

155.4300/156.2100 173.8 KNEY874 Gainesville Police Ch-1
154.0325/158.8725 173.8 WPPA242 Gainesville Police Ch-2

155.5725/153.8525 WQJQ455 Cooke Co. Emergency Management

Only CTCSS has not been assigned by Shipman for the repeaters. But they say this will be done soon.

Its rare to hear Bonham on Digital. the Dispatchers Console can't go to Digital yet so they very rarely use it. Fannin only use Digital when Distance becomes an issue or to pass Case Sensitive information. but 293 is the NAC for both.

Okay. I'll put some of this stuff in and see what I can hear.
