Grayson / Cooke Co Chase/Fire

An officer from Grayson County was just involved in a vehicle chase on the West side of Grayson County which ended on the East side of Cooke Co NW of Gainesville, when the officer wrecked out. His vehicle caught fire which in turn has ignited a grass fire. The suspect vehicle is still being sought. Multiple fire departments are en route to the fire.

Surprisingly this is not the first time I have heard of a police officer's vehicle starting a grass fire, after wrecking out in mid 10-80. I hope they apprehend the chasee and charge him with unlawfully starting a grass fire. That's Texas justice...
