I am just wondering how to save a favourite frequency on the gre 500

To add a conventional channel to the scanner press PROG and then F1 and then CONV.

When you edit the conventional object simply select "Yes" for the "Fav:" menu line item. This will add it to the favorite bank (bank #21).
