GRE 600 or BCT 8

Has anyone had any experience with the GRE PSR 600 base scanner ???

Negative here, but I have the PSR-500 (the handheld version) and it is wonderful! SOOOOO many features. Tons of options and plenty of memory space for AWIN and other large Trunked systems. I really like mine! I can't say enough about it!.

I have a 396 and rarely use it anymore. I have been considering selling the 396 but am undecided at this point.

I have a GRE PSR-600 used on my desk top, and it works great in my area. I use it with a MON-3 Par Electronics VHF/UHF/800 Mhz antenna with 50 feet of LMR-400 coax.

I also have a BCD996T that I don't use much any more because I like the 600 much better. The 600 scans very fast and picks up more than the 996.

I also had a BCD396T that I sold last month.

You will be happy with a 600, but it does have a learning curve like the 396 and 996.

How can you even compare a PSR-600 to a BCT 8??

It's like a 2009 Corvette compared to a 2004 Ford Taurus.
