New to the forum, and am working on programming a GRE-600. I know that it is a MOT UHF system, the problem I'm running into is that I can't seem to hash out the trunking tables for it. I have all the frequencies for the system, and I can see the ID's rolling by, however I can't hear anything. I have looked all over the place for trunking tables that might point me in the right direction, but the pickings are pretty slim, any help on the issue of how to get this UHF trunking system to work. If I set it up like the site HERE It works, but the frequencies are off. Any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Where do you live, city and state, and what system are you trying to listen to.

Las Cruces NM. It is a security network that is not listed as anything in the area. I know the frequencies though, but I can't release them in an open forum. Please don't pry, I can't get into too many details.

So it's a Federal system? Otherwise the frequencies are listed in the FCC database. If you could locate the license and tell us it you're still in the clear.

Also, the GRE500/600 has an option to display the hex code of the channel. You need this to do the calculations. In PROG mode hit Func then GLOB. Go down toward the bottom and you'll see "Trunking CH#:". Set it to On and record the hex code for the control channel. The Wiki here will explain what to do with them.

Displaying the Trunking CH# did the trick. Thank you Wayne for your assistance, the Trunking now works. Thanks Again.
