I was told by GRE the PSR800 "base" would not be released until mid 2012.

My wish is for a mobile version of the psr800 that can log all data to a computer and be remote controlled like the psr600 and programmed like the psr800.

Funny, I want it to be more like the PSR600, with keys, bigger screen, P25 Phase II, and other modes if possible with a few new bells and whistles. And most important not dependent on a database, program it yourself with only what you want in it.

I guess there will never be a scanner to satisfy all. Should be interesting to see what GRE has in mind. To get P25 phase II in a base, it might have to be a keeper for me either way it comes out. :D

well...

The PSR-900 working model on display at the CES show.
Showing off the 'remote head' connected by some flat black color cable.
Two round magnets on the back of it to attach it to any metal objects and a SD Card in the main part of the unit,
Should be release in the 2nd quarter.

The specs are the same as the PSR-800 per the GRE Comparison chart from the show.

&

PSR-120 (Conventional Scanner) was also on display.
It's a 0-9 'BANK' scanner.

It doesnt say Phase 2 on the paper and since its based on the 800 id say there wont be an official word from GRE that it will do phase 2.

Im sure if it was a confirmed phase 2 scanner it would have it almost right in the 1st line / as a headline.

so its still up in the air (as is the 800)
